Pint plant of this tender perennial vine Vigna caracalla. The corkscrew vine is a leguminous vine from the family Fabaceae originating in tropical South America and Central America. This fascinating vine changes colors as the curly Q blossoms open. An extremely fragrant vine grows to 10 feet. This perennial vine, when grown in a climate without frost, has fragrant flowers said to be reminiscent of hyacinths. The Common names are corkscrew vine, snail vine, snail creeper, or snail bean. Zones 8b to 11.
