Seeds from Tristania conferta Brush Box tree an evergreen with moderate growth reaching a height of 60 feet or more with a spread to 40 feet. More narrow and upright when young, the crown becomes broad and rounded when mature. Fragrant flowers in clusters of 3 to 7 in summer, white to creamy. Fruit is a woody capsule half inch in diameter, similar to eucalyptus. Tolerates all soil types and high alkalinity, and from seacoast exposure to high desert conditions. Responds to water in well drained soils when young, drought resistant when established. Hardy in zones 9 to 10.
