Starter plant 8 to 12 inches tall of this Transcantia Red Cloud Spiderwort. Plants that grow to 18 inches and are drought resistant perennial for zones 6 and above. The plant when covered with masses of these 1 inch flowers, show wonderfully if planted together. They grow to 18 inches and can fill in a dry and sunny area in no time at all. They are in blossom from April thru October with almost continuous blooms. This plant does reseed easily but seedlings are easy to remove and share with friends.
