Thysanolaena maxima or Tiger Grass which is a plant found in hilly region of Nepal, north and east parts of India and Bhutan. The flowers of this plant are used as cleaning tool or broom, which is known as kucho in Nepali. A perennial grass with tight clumping which makes it a good screen or feature plant. Zones 9 to 11.
