Telosma cordata Fragrant Chinese violet Pakalana vine
Starter plant of Pakalana Vine or Telosma Cordata and sometimes called Fragrant Chinese Violet. This 8 to 10 feet vine will rival the fragrance of the night blooming jasmine when it is in blossom, which if from June through October. The delicate yellow clusters of hanging cups with a light orange center, open in early morning and the fragrance is there all day. Hardy in zones 9a to 11, and root hardy to 20 degrees. Requirements are full sun and do not like to have its roots standing in water. The soft leaves are a medium green ovals and about 2 inches with smooth edges.
