Seeds from Tabebuia rosea a medium to large sized deciduous tree up to 40 feet high and wide. Flowers purplish pink to nearly white, up to 6 inches long. Fruit a linear capsule containing many winged seeds. Leaves are oblongs to ovate elliptic, leathery, scaly and mid to dark green in color. A fast grower, especially when young. Well suited to the coastal garden, this plant is tolerant of salt spray. Trees withstand a limited amount of pruning. Zones 9 to 11.
