Quart Tree of Salix sepulcralis Erythroflexuosa. A medium shrub 10 to 16 feet tall with twisted orange or red annual growth. The contorted branches arch upwards in a fountain-like form and the bark is shiny turning redder in the fall and winter. Desiring full sun to part shade helps this rapid grower. Ample moisture or if in a moist location; tolerates poor soils. Zones 4 to 7.
