Seeds from Proboscidea parviflora var. hohokamiana Devils claw. Double Devils claw is a plant native to southern Africa with pink to yellow blossoms. Its name comes from the small hooks on the plants fruit. I grow this just because it is pretty, but I know that in some parts of the world it is used for medical purposes. The very interesting seed pod is where it gets its name. Claws used in Indian basketry. Needs warmth to germinate in 1 to 6 months. Growing 30 inches tall, it is an annual in my zone 8B garden
