Seeds from Poncirus trifoliata a contorted tree called Flying Dragon or Trifoliate Orange. This plant produces masses inedible citrus fruit, but that is not the star of this tree. The contorted branches are mind boggling. The blossoms in the spring do have a very nice scent as most citrus. This is excellent for bonsai as it is a very slow grower. This plant does overwinter outside in my zone 8B area but does usually lose all its leaves if we have a killing frost, but comes back to blossom again in the summer. Zones 6 to 10.
