This upright perennial grass features showy
rosy-red flowers that mature to a light wheat color on erect stems 3 ft. tall, shorter than most other Pennisetum species. The mounding plant is narrow, shiny green with burgundy highlights. Very attractive when backlit by sunshine. Heat tolerant. Useful in beds, borders, and containers.Hardy in zones 7-11.
