Seeds from Passiflora Platyloba have balloon-like bracts that fully encase the flower bud and developing fruit. Featuring fragrant, flowers that hang down like bells when viewed from below. They are used mostly for covering an arch, arbor, or pergola. Its ripened fruit tastes a somewhat like grapes, and is good for eating fresh. A passionfruit that is quite drought tolerant and grows 8 to 10 feet in zones 9a to 11.
