Starter plant of Passiflora coriacea also know as Bat Leaf passion vine is root hardy to zone 9-11. This is a rare species from South America that does not have variegated leaves. The flowers on this plant are 1 inch across and have light lime green petals and light yellow filaments with an almost black center. The leaves give this plant its name and are the star, they look somewhat like a bat in flight they are thick and waxy and a deep green.
