Seeds from Passiflora Caerulea Blue Crown are offered here. This plant is root hardy to zone 7. It is beautiful throughout the summer with 3 inch blossoms of large white petals, bright blue filaments, and a dark navy center. Blue Crown grows to 30 feet long. Plant Passiflora Caerulea in full or partial sun. The more sun the more flowers. Cut back by one third in the dormant season as blossoms form on new growth. As with most passion vines, it is a real favorite with the butterflies. Passiflora caerulea is a North American native host plant for the Gulf Fritillary, the Variegated Fritillary, the Zebra Longwing, and the Julia butterflies.
