This standout herb has a long history spanning many decades and it has been used around the world by numerous different cultures. Green pepper basil is a joy to have in the kitchen. It really does taste like a combination of green peppers and basil. It is just plain delicious. Grown as an annual, but can stay alive all winter in some locations. USDA Hardiness Zones 9 to 11
