The leaves are tiny 1/2 inch long and 1/4 inch wide and very shiny year round. Most of the time this small shrub is trimmed tightly but can be left to grow up to 6 feet tall. Hardy in zones 8 to 11 and grows best in full to partial shade. Insignificant small white blossoms appear in mid summer. Average water conditions, but does not like wet feet.
