Seeds of this Very Rare and very easy to grow Musa borneensis var borneensis. A medium sized Banana from the tropicals of southern Sarawak on the island of Borneo, with densely clustering pseudostems to 12 ft tall. These hold a crown of slender, ascending leaves to 12 ft. long. The stout, horizontally held and later pendulous inflorescence red-purple bracts. A and still rare ornamental for the tropics and warm temperate areas. Zones 9 – 11.
