Here I am offering a Quart Plant of Mucuna Nigricans or Black Jade vine. This is much rarer than its green or red cousins. Originating in Eastern Asia and is hardy in zones 9 to 11 only, it is a must for a collector. The 3 to 4 inch maroonish purple blossoms appear midwinter. This is an aggressive vine that can easily grow to 40 feet quite quickly. Easy to grow if you have the space and can give it winter protection above 40 degrees.
