Seeds from Monsonia emarginita – a true geranium, this delightful ground cover bears showy cream coloured flowers most of the year. Grows happily in sandy coastal soils requiring minimum attention. It does however respond well to occasional feeding and watering. Attracts butterflies and birds and is excellent on banks, in containers and in mixed borders. They also adapt well to a variety of garden positions. A zone 8-11 perennial plant with long trailing stems with elliptical mid green leaves, flowers creamy white with purple veins on the backs of petals. An excellent choice for low water areas.
