Seeds from this short lived Mimosa Pudica shrub grown mostly for its curiosity factor. It will close its fern like leaves if touched and usually open within minutes. A real attraction for children, they love to watch it open and close. These frost-tender plants prefer full sun and moderately fertile, well-drained soil and are usually treated as an annual. Water well during the growing period, and sparingly in winter. Zones 9-11.
