Seeds from the Melaleuca linariifolia, popularly known as Snow-in-Summer, this is a tree native to eastern Australia. Grows 20 to 30 feet tall. It releases perfumed, white flowers in summer , with creamy white papery bark. The flowering can be profuse, covering the tree in white and giving rise to its common name. Tolerates both dry and soggy conditions and is frost hardy. Attracts a wide variety of birds. Zones 9 to 11
