Seeds from Translucent Honeysuckle Lonicera quinquelocularis. A small to medium sized deciduous shrub or small tree to 14 feet from the Himalayas has distinctively lattice patterned bark and velvety leaves. It produces its pale yellow and whitish honeysuckle blooms in pairs in early to mid summer, which are followed by small white berries that mature to almost transparent, showing the dark violet seeds within in early to mid autumn. Haedy in zones 5-9. Seeds need stratificatio at 40 degrees for 2 months in late fall or early spring.
