Seeds from Lonicera involucrata Bracted Honeysuckle, Bearberry Honeysuckle, Twinberry Honeysuckle, Twin-berry, Black Twinberry. Erect to ascending shrub, 3 to 9 feet tal with downy stems with young twigs 4-sided,greenish. Fruit is purple-black berries, about 1/2 inch across, in pairs within pairs of deep purplish maroon bracts, ripening from July to September. Hardy in zones 3 – 6.
