Seeds from this true species lily Lilium walliichianum or Lilium burnhamense is a trumpet lily from warmer valleys of the Himalayan region India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim where it is also found on limestone slopes in open coniferous forests. It has thin, wiry stems which have the strength to hold up such large white trumpet shaped flowers which bloom in midsummer. The stems grow up to 5 ft tall and have thin slender leaves. This is also a stoloniferous type of lily. Hardy in zones 6b to 9a.
