Seeds from Lilium tenufolium or Turks Cap Lily. This 1-3 foot lily has sealing wax red, flowers which are extremely fragrant in sping through early summer when it blooms. A wonderful performer in shady areas in zones 4-8. Underground bulbs multiply yearly to put on a bigger show each year. Maintenance: It is best to remove the top portion of the flowering stalk when finished blooming so that seed is not formed taking away from bulb nourishment. However, at least 2/3 of the stem should be left to nourish the bulb. Stems can be cut down once browned. Other info: Bulbs will probably take 3 to 4 years from seed to flower.
