Seeds from Lilium pomponium blooms in a bright scarlet and the linear leaves are edged with silver. The flowers are funnel or bell shaped with six spreading segments. This is a showy plant for planting in the shrubbery or herbaceous border and blooms early to late summer. Plants are drought tolerant and grow best under sunny conditions. Zones 5-8.
