Seeds the most fragrant of the southern shrubs, Ligustrum. This plant produces masses of lovely white blossoms in the summer that will cover the plant. In the summer, when in blossom the intoxicating fragrance carries 40 feet from the plant and the neighborhood is perfumed. This plant is a very fast grower and will reach up to 8 feet tall and 5 feet across, a favorite for evergreen hedges. This plant does overwinter outside in my zone 8B area easily and will be hardy even in zones 7 to 10.
