This is a Lagerstroemia indica or Crape Myrtle Catawba Plant. A superb mid sized Crape Myrtle selection with nice dark purple blooms in mid to late summer. The Foliage is dark green throughout the season, and then turning bright red in the fall. Crape Myrtle Catawba has a good good growth rate and is an excellent bloomer.
