Seeds from this Golden Chain tree or Laburnum Anagyroides. This variety has much denser 8 inch flower clusters than the more ordinary variety. It can grow to 16-20 feet tall and 12 feet across. In the spring this tree produces long strands of bright yellow flowers that are absolutely enchanting if grown over a walkway. They grow in full sun to part shade with very little extra care and have very few insect problems. Hardy in zones 5-10. Enjoys cooler winters and is hardy to 10 degrees. As with lots of trees, the leaves are poisonous if eaten in large quantities.
