Seeds from this Kahili ginger or Hedychium gardnerianum. Very easy to grow from seed. Hedychium gardnerianum has bright yellow blooms with red-orange stamens and a delicate fragrance. Flowers from July through October. Grows in light shade to full sun, 4-5 feet tall. Hardy in zones 8-11, but can be brought in out of the freezing weather in the winter for storage. Multi-stemmed with the ends covered with these with hibiscus-like blossoms.
