Seeds from Gladiolus palustris common name Marsh gladiolus or Sword Lily. Gladiolus palustris reaches on average 12 to 24 inchs of height. The stem is erect and unbranched, the bulbus is spherical with cross linked fibers at the top. The leaves are shorter than the stem. The flowering period of these plants extends from May through July. Hardy in zones 6 to 10.
