Seeds of Fritillaria atropurpurea spotted fritillary is a herbaceous perennial that produces bulbs, reaching up to 2 ft tall. One to 5 flowers hang in a bell shape at the top of the stem. Grow in full sun to partial shade, prefers coarse well-drained soil. Hardy in zones 5a-9b.
