Starter plant of Dysphania ambrosicides, or Chenopodium ambriodes of this wonderful Mexican or Central American herb Epazote and gives a unique taste to these cuisines. Its young leaves and tender shoots are often used as leafy greens. The more mature plants leaves are a must for many bean, fish or corn dishes. This annual grows through a long season and then the leaves dried for longer use.
