Seeds from this rare Banana Ensete perrieri. A native to tropical Africa, this species is endemic to Madagascar but looks intriguingly like the Asian E. glaucum. Named after French botonist Joseph Marie Henry Alfred Perrier. This species makes a wonderful speciman plant for both tropical and temperate regions. It has a robust beautifully bluish waxy pseudostem that is distinctly swollen at the base. Zones 8 to 10.
