Quart plant from Echinacea Firebird. A well-branched plant that will support the 3 ?? blossoms in mid to late summer. The daisy-like flowers appear from mid through late summer, coneflowers are in most of today’s gardens. Ideal for sunny borders and growing in mixed containers. Attractive to butterflies. If deadheaded, the bloom cycle may be extended. However, some spent blooms should be left on the plants in fall because their seeds provide winter food for finches and other birds. The dried seed heads also provide architectural interest in the winter. Zones 4 to 9.
