Seeds from Echinacer angustifolia – Black Sampson – Narrow-leaved purple coneflower. A wonderful drought tolerant 16 – 28″ perennial in this striking pink blooms and fuzzy stems and leaves. Grown in gravelly, sandy, and rocky dry limestone prairies, this plant needs very little extra care. It is hardy to zone 3 and is not frost tender. It is in flower from Jul to August. Zones 4-8.
