Seeds from Dypsis arenarum or Sand Palm. Yet generally similar to Dypsis lutescens, this endangered palm from the coastal forest in eastern Madagascar is uniquely different by its longer leafstalks, fewer leaflets and much smaller seeds. The arenarum is a naturally clumping palm that can reach heights around 10-15 feet tall. As adaptable and robust as the well known Golden Cane Palm, it will thrive under the same general conditions.
