Pint plant from Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora or Crocosmia ‘Emily McKenzie’ This large-flowered variety is the result of a cross between Crocosmia and Tritonia. Emily McKenzie produces smoky orange flowers with a mahogany eye. These blooms pop from sprays of orange buds encased in purple sheaths. Widely grown for cut flowers, blooms are brilliant orange accented with a red halolike ring surrounding a yellow throat. Plant in a sunny spot. Zones 5 to 9.
