Seeds from the Purple Smoke tree or Cotinus coggygria atropurpurea. This 12-14 foot small decoritive tree is hardy in zones 4-9 and produces these wonder long plumes of purple fluffy flowers from June to August. This appears as if the tree is surrounded by a cloud of purple like smoke. This specimen plant prefers well drained soil in full or part sun.
