Seeds of Coreopsis lanceolata Radiana Tigrina, tickseed. This 18″-24″ tender perennial is hardy in zones 4b-9a. Blooms early spring thru early fall. This dainty little plant will burst alive in the spring covered with showy mahogany-red flowers heavily marked with yellow at the ends of the petals. An ideal variety for mass plantings or as an accent in the garden. Prefers full sun in poor soils. Coreopsis ‘Dwarf Red’ is nice at the front of the border or around the base of larger plants. It self sows nicely. Excellent for dry areas. A flower arrangers dream.
