Seeds from Chasmanthium Latifloium or Northern sea oats is one of the most of all the perennial grasses. Only growing about 18 inches high, it produces heads in the summer that are bright green and turn golden in the fall and stay through the winter. It loves the sun and is quite drought tolerant.
