The small semi-double to peony form bloom has irregular petals bloom and is white, tipped with reddish lavender. The months that this camellia is not in bloom, the Leslie Ann is still earning her keep with dark glossy green foliage that stays lusciously vibrant all year long. It tends to keep a very narrow profile and is an excellent choice for tight spaces. Height 8 to 10 feet Width 5 to 7 feet. Camellias are best in semi-shade in sandy slightly acid soil which is kept mulched and watered. Camellia sasanqua is native to Japan. Zones 7 to 9.
