Pint plant from Camellia japonica Pink Perfection. This old and reliable favorite produces perfectly formed, fully double rich pink flowers over an extended period from November to May. The plant has upright and compact growth. It is a semi-dwarf plant with spreading to a rounded, compact growth. Camellias prefer an acidic, humus-rich soil with organic mulch and average moisture. Once well-established they need little additional care and will continue to perform for years to come. Most Camellias do best where they get light shade or morning sun and the light filtered shade of pines seems to be perfect. Zones 7 to 10.
