Pint plant from Camellia japonica Harold L Paige. They flaunt large, double deep frilly red flowers. Slow growing, upright to spreading shrub or small tree with age. Oval, glossy, leaves, and profuse winter to spring blooming flowers in milder climates. Prefer filtered sunlight a few hours in the morning, in the late afternoon, or filtered light, like through high limbed pines, is fine as well with high light conditions the remainder of the day if possible.
