Seeds of Callirhoe involucrata – Purple poppy mallow. This herbaceous perennial grows 6-12″ tall and 8-36″ wide. These beautiful magenta flowers bloom from May through June. Easily grown in dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun. Grows well from seed and may self-seed in the garden in optimum growing conditions. No serious insect or disease problems. Hardy in zone 4-8.
