Extremely easy to grow from seeds, just start them inside in early spring and they will form berries the first fall. This loose open form deciduous 3 to 4 inch shrub is hardy from zones 6 to 10b and has something to offer every season. In the spring many light lavender blossoms appear around the stem nodules which turn into many tightly packed metallic pearly white berries in the fall.
