Seeds from this Butia capitata or Jelly Palm. This palm is hardy in zones 7-11 and is one of the hardiest in our area. We have had repeated days in the high 20’s and it has never damaged my plants large or small. The fruits on this plant have almost an apricot flavor and so make a very nice jelly. These will quickly develop into trees with 7 or 8 leaves by the end of this season.
