Seeds from this acuminata Alba Dwarf. Similar to other Bauhinia species, the leaves are 2 to 6 inches long and broad, double-lobed and shaped like an ox hoof with an apical crevice up to 2 inches deep. The petiole is 0. 5 to 1. 5 inches long. These fragrant flowers can reach diameter of up to 5 inches in diameter, with five white petals, ten yellow-tipped stamens and a green stigma. The fruit grows as a pod reaching lengths of 3 to 6 inches and widths of only less than an inch. The species is found in deciduous forests and scrub. Zones 9 to 11.
