Seeds from Atractocarpus or Randia fitzalanii Naive Gardenia Brown Gardenia or Yellow Mangosteen. An evergreen rain forest tree with very attractive glossy green leaves. The small 1 inch white fragrant flowers appear from September to November. This small tree 10-15 feet that blooms in spring with highly fragrant, small, white, flowers which resemble those of Gardenias. The trunk is covered by smooth grey bark. It produces large, edible, yellow fruits hence its other common name Yellow Mangosteen in zones 9b-11.
