Seeds from this hard to find Asclepias subulata or Desert Milkweed or Ajamente. Evergreen, small – medium shrub, 2 to 5 feet tall, 4 feet spread, 3 feet wide; gray green, generally leafless, stems, containing a milky sap; short-lived linear stems, up to 2 inches long. Hardy in zones 9-11 and prefers full to part sun. Very easy to grow from seeds and needs little water once established.
