Seeds from Asclepias cancellata or Gomphorcarpus cancellata or Cape Milkweed. Sometimes known as Cotton Milkweed because when the flowers fade to seed pods they appear as a ball of cotton upon the tops of the 3 to 4 foot stems. A species from South Africa. The short pointed leaves on long stems have white veining. Will die back to its roots in freezing temperatures but will return in the spring. Hardy in zones 9 and above. Deer resistant and a real bee and butterfly magnet.
